John Blazosky

As most of you are aware we lost John Blazosky last Sunday. What some of you might not be aware of is that John started our league many years ago. Until the last two years John was a stalwart player with us. Last year he started to frequent our outings less as his physical capabilities became diminished. John loathed the tree to the left of the number 2 green and looked forward to the day it would die or be cut down. Many of us initialed golf balls and placed them around "the Blazosky tree."

Thanks to Denny, those golf balls were made into a garland and strung around the tree along with a plaque memorializing John through that hated tree.

John hated that tree but I doubt if he hates it now.
